Devine Meat Company was founded in 1943. At the time, Devine Meat Company was a staple outside of town. Today, DMC is in the middle of town and continues to service the local community. Clayton Saunders purchased Devine Meat Company in 2012. With the purchase he brought many family recipes and processes to Devine Meat Company. Today, DMC produces jerky and dry sausage using 150 year old family recipes and techniques. Our jerky and dry sausage is made the old way, they way my grandparents did it.

Today, Clayton operates one business with multiple facets. 

DEVINE MEAT COMPANY - the slaughter house and main production facility for dry goods.

CLAYTON'S MEAT MARKET - the main retail location in the Coastal Bend of Texas.
